Living out the wholehearted life is impossible without God’s whole heart flowing through us. Prayer is our human means for tapping into the supernatural life of God. Prayer is inviting God’s presence over our life. Following are prayers, for the start and conclusion of each day that may be helpful in your journey to live the wholehearted life.
The Morning Prayer for Wholehearted Living
Good morning Jesus. I want to begin this day offering up my whole heart, my whole being to you. I dedicate my thinking, my feelings, and my body to you today. Thank you for living your life in and through my heart. Thank you that through your transforming love, I have a good heart, a kind heart, and a loving heart. Thank you for the power and love of Your Holy Spirit that flows through my new heart.
Jesus, thank you that I have been given every spiritual blessing that I need to live a wholehearted life. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone. Thank you that I don’t have to compare myself or measure myself with others. Thank you that the power of shame has been broken. I am who I am in Christ—fully and completely created for a wonderful purpose. Thank you that when I am fully engaged in your will and ways, I bring you the most glory.
Thank you Lord that I am worthy; I am beautiful; I am forgiven; I am unconditionally and fully loved. I have what it takes, because you have what it takes. I am enough because you are enough.
I am all in, abounding in love, fully engaged for your majestic plan for my life, unique to me, prepared by you for me to experience. I will be wholehearted in all that I do.
Because of your power and love, I thank you that I am enough for the struggles that will come. Today, even if I fail in loving others and even if I feel rejected, I will courageously choose to love and serve. I will position my mind on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, beautiful, and praiseworthy.
Jesus, fill me with your vision for today and empower me with Your Holy Spirit fire. I am fully ready for the challenges of the day. I will be strong and courageous.

The Evening Prayer for Wholehearted Living
Thank you Lord for this day. Thank you for the challenges that came my way. Thank you for the victories and defeats. Thank you for your presence.
Today, I may have failed in attempts to love and I may have felt rejected at times. But, I thank you that I’m brave, I’m courageous, and I’m good. I am still a wholehearted lover.
I’m on a journey and tomorrow I’m going to show up again. In the power and love of the Holy Spirit, I’m going to still dare greatly. No sin, no demon, and no power can stop me from doing your will Lord. In your power and love I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Now, speak to me even in the night as I sleep. Give me visions and dreams from you. Give me rest and peace.
