I am brimming with gratitude for so many things God has done this year. We are experiencing a political and societal revolution that is only just beginning. With the recent election of President Donald J. Trump as our 47th president of the United States, coupled with what God is doing in our church and community, the following is my list of my Top Seven of things I’m most thankful for:
My Top Seven Thanksgiving List:
- I am once again thankful that I married up. After 39 years of marriage, Liz and I are still in love and daily enjoy each other immensely! From her and with her, our family of young adult leaders and entrepreneurs makes our heart glad.
- I am thankful to God for leading me so clearly to plant The Road Church ten years ago, and, as a result, to see God raise up such quality leaders in our fellowship. It is a pleasure to work together in such an enjoyable kingdom culture.
- I am thankful for the quality leaders in El Paso County and Colorado Springs. I am privileged to regularly work alongside so many in our educational, political, and business community who are delivering great visions and programs for us.
- I am thankful that Donald Trump won our presidential election. He will restore free speech, freedom of religion, entrepreneurism, and economic prosperity to our nation.
- I am thankful that President Trump is assembling a cabinet of disrupters who will bring their chainsaws into the corruption of Big Pharma, Big Gov, Big Ag, and Big Ed.
- I am thankful that President Trump wants to end wars, not start them or keep funding them.
- I am thankful that the military industrial surveillance complex will be on notice in how they spend their money. They’ve failed the last seven audits and think it’s funny. It won’t be funny under our new Commander in Chief.
We have much to be thankful for!
