Be Careful What You Look For

By February 6, 2020No Comments

“Seek and you will find” is the Law of the Kingdom of God. Everyone experiences this kingdom law. All people, regardless of ethnicity, socioeconomic background or religion, knows this to be true. They may not be able to articulate it, but we all know that we find what we look for. If you look for bad in the world, you find it. If you look for good, you find it.

You are what you seek. Someone has referred to this as the “Law of Attraction.” It’s this idea that we attract what we are. If you live in a world of offenses, hurt and blame, you attract offensive, hurtful, blaming people and circumstances. Seek and you will find.

A person only begins to become truly human (one’s true self) when he/she ceases to whine, revile and blame and commences to search for the hidden justice and compassion which regulates the Kingdom of God within. It is this lining up with the Kingdom that adapts our mind to that regulating factor.

We can cease to accuse others as the cause of our condition. We can learn to build ourselves up in strong, noble and courageous thoughts. We then can cease to kick against circumstances, but begin to use them as aids to a more rapid progress and as a means of discovering the power of the Holy Spirit within.

Seeking and finding,
