There is a desire within each of us, in the deep center of ourselves that we call our heart. We were born with it. It is never completely satisfied, and it never dies…Our true identity, our reason for being, is to be found in this desire. (Gerald May)
There is a secret place within our hearts that longs for something deeper. The Bible says that from our heart are “the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23 NIV) It is often unnoticed and uncared for. But hidden deep within our hearts is a desire for authentic significance, a deep longing to find the treasure. This is the desire for the life you were meant to experience. God put it there.
But life goes on. We get busy. We soon forget the deep desires of our heart. We are driven to succeed, to build security and stay the course. The yearning for life becomes elusive. The passions of our heart are tucked away and forgotten. Most men never discover it.
Your heart is the deepest, truest you! Finding your whole heart is the advance of life!
Men, I want to invite you to take three days out of your busy life and come away to find your whole heart. Join myself and a host of men as we worship, war, pray, and hang out together. Praise and worship will be led by Mark Tedder. We are a band of brothers, what we call “worshippers and warriors,” who are taking time out of our busy lives to seek God, find out hearts, and get equipped to serve and love others with our whole heart. We long to walk in the deep desires of our soul. You are invited.
