The Lion Hearted

As we look upon the landscape of our nation, we observe evil on the rise and unscrupulous men attempting to take over America with half-truths, deception, and controlled information. It seems that all around us “big tech” and “big pharma” monopolize every aspect of our society—what we see, what we read, even how we interact with each other.

Our once trusted media is now in bed with the agenda of the liberal elite. More concerned with framing and communicating their socialist narrative, they serve up a one-sided worldview that has all but shut down alternative opinions. The growing cases of voter fraud in the presidential election and strategic neglect of truth have accelerated the mistrust of the population toward mainstream news organizations.

At every turn, we are bombarded with fearful news about the growing cases of the coronavirus. With our children unable to attend school in person, our small businesses and stores shuttered, and an epidemic of fear, we observe people walking around (if they even go outside) like zombies from an episode of The Walking Dead.

But now is not the time to become intimidated or fearful. Now is the time to be bold as a lion. Solomon wrote, “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1) This is not the time to drink the Kool-Aid of faintheartedness. This is not the time for trepidation. This is a trumpet call to boldness and lion-hearted faith.

It was Edmund Burke who said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing…Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.” We may not be able to do a lot, but we can do a little. But the little we do might be more than you expect.

Jesus seemed to be anticipating the hour we are living in when He said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20) Your faith, yes, your faith, as small as it seems to be, can move mountains! That’s not my opinion; that’s what Jesus said. Do you believe it?

I challenge you today to pray for God to move mountains of deception and evil in America. We need the mustard seed faith of millions of believers who will pray with mountain-moving conviction. I challenge you today to ask God to reveal the satanic devices ruling over our society and to pray that He would disempower these forces bent on destroying our nation. Ask God to release righteousness, peace, and justice across our land. Ask God to raise up leaders of integrity, zeal, and lion-hearted faith. Pray with confidence and boldness. Be lion hearted today!
